Final Reflection

  • What have I learnt in this module?
~Throughout the semester, I learned a lot of design principles and how to use elements creatively. Because I listened to Ms Jinchi's opinions on everyone through online lectures, I learned how to be creative and witty, as well as a lot of design knowledge, which will be very useful for my art pace.
  • What did I enjoy the most?
~The final project is one that I enjoy working on. This is because I can find the style of my artwork by studying the styles of other artists, and I also admire Jamsan's work because it was unique and had his own style. Second, I also like Project 1. This is due to my ability to express myself freely and introduce everyone to my life and personality.
  • What did I not enjoy the most? 
~ Project 2 is the most I not enjoy because the time limit is short and I am busy in going back to campus so that I can't perform well .The draw only show the painting skill that I still maintain .It is not enough  to me .
  • What have I learnt about myself through this module?
~ Through this module, I had learned all of the design principles and using them wisely in my projects .I also cultivated an awareness of design in my lives. I also learning how to taking the styles of different artists and combined them well. It is very interesting.

  • What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
~ My passion and confidence in art have been the most big differences in my learning journey. I was always depressed and sad about my work because I lacked confidence and compared it to the perfect works of others, so I envied everyone else's perfect works. After the learning journey, I have a good understanding of design and can apply design principles wisely. I've changed my mind about comparing my work to that of others. I'll try to improve on my previous design and compare it to this one.

~The spirit of never giving up has stayed unchanged. Because of this spirit, I kept pushing myself to motivate myself and find solutions to the problem I was facing.

  • What could be improved in this module?
~ I think most of projects are good but some of them still need to improve is to make sure and double check the details of my draws because sometimes I am careless person I always making some small mistakes that shouldn't wrong. I think next time I can manage my time to get enough sleep and keep my awareness on every details.
