Lost & Found
~This is one of my favourite stop motion videos by comparison. It is a
puppet animation style [knit]. Although his film is the longest of the
two contrasting durations, with its moving story and flawless execution
of every element, 'Lost and Found' is a sight to behold. I love the
storyline because the T-Rex [main character ] gives himself up to save
his friend [fox] , his loyalty strong enough to insight self sacrifice
for his friend's well-being. Besides, the shoot and the craftsmanship
are both excellent and professional . Although being shot in a small
room, every shot is nicely done, and the lighting, especially when the
t-rex gets scared. When the light reaches the front and the background
darkens as the camera progressively zooms in on his expression, it's
hilarious. The t-rex's line got hooked to the long enveloping sight,
where everything from the fox to the pool is fascinating. As the plot
grows and the despair intensifies, the music morphs into an epic score
that emphasizes the self-sacrifice of both creatures. While a sad
conclusion, it's also hopeful, and the score illuminates the belief
everything will be okay in the end.
