TASK 3 : Type Exploration and Application

Figure 1 My Inspiration (18.06.22)

~ Nowadays, there still had a lot of protest activities organised like the lawyer protest at Malaysia's capital Kuala Lumpur on Friday (June 17) , global protest rage against Russian invasion of Ukraine and so on. So ,I start to explore then I found an interesting font design catch my eyes which is in figure 1. I was impressed by the bold design and clarity of the message.

~ I decide to my own style I designed the "o" as the peace symbol to represent bring peace. I go with san-serif and bold.

~ After Mr.Vinod giving me feedback ,I agreed the ideas that suggested. It make my "o" even more unique and unforgettable.

~ I had take my uppercase as reference but some of them just only shrink the size only. On top of that to make "o" not same with uppercase "o" I rotate the uppercase and pathfinder it so that they look similar.

~ She is a symbol of war, displacement and defiance. Hers seemingly has not been an easy life through looking into her eyes. So, this is the reason I choosing her.

~ I think that I had a problem the bottom right is too eye-catching with the heading.

~ This is one of the close up to see the word in the poster. The sentence in this poster is small or not obvious to see. This is because people have a lot of negative thoughts when they are suffering. Then after thinking about one sentence, there will be a new sentence, so it will be different in size. In this poster, why do I put Help us delete to help me in it because some selfish people have no humanity in order to survive. Then , why are the bring me back alive is black and not obvious because the person is dead and that is his resentment after he dead.

~ In this poster, if you look closely, you can see that the layer below the girl will have a soldier instead of the girl's contour. It also means paying tribute to the soldiers and felt sadness for them because they can only choose to obey orders.

General Feedback: We need to consider the application of our typeface.

General Feedback: Continue working.

Week 12
General Feedback: Introduce the girl  that is Greta Thunberg's typical writing.  Mr. Vinod aIso help me in the design of the "o". He also remind me the protest placards should not be too long before I create. If only have Uppercase, can be used on lowercase also.

Reflection

Experience: I am trying to communicate the message in my own way. 

Observation: I observed that I have been breaking through myself and asking myself to do more and learn more so that I can make better works

Finding : Keep moving on.

This chapter10 would have been much more interesting if I knew more about English highways, despite the fact that it ends in New York City. For me, the takeaway is that only Germans would create a font called Grotesk Akzidenz for road signs.

Students are creating the visual identity and design apps for the suggested campaign using knowledge obtained from prior work; the design approach begins with establishing major main visuals and then adopting them to design applications.
