Lecture
Week 1 / Introduction & Briefing
We learned the fundamentals of composition in this lecture. Even the most
ordinary things and subjects in the most mundane of settings may be
transformed into masterpieces with the right composition.
Basic Composition:
- Focal Point :Allows viewers eyes to naturally settle on important elements of design
- Scale & Hierarchy : Scale is used to communicate hierarchy
- Balancing Elements : Thinking that each element has weight
- Space : Empty space. Balances main focus of the composition.
Rule of Third
Figure 1.1 (30.08.21)
It is the method of dividing an image into thirds by drawing two
horizontal and two vertical lines across it. This fictitious grid
divides into nine sections, each with four junction points. We get a much more natural image if place the most significant
aspects of the image at these junction locations.
Golden Ratio
Figure 1.2 (30.08.21)
In nature, it is a common mathematical ratio. It provides
aesthetically pleasant organic and natural compositions when
employed in design. The golden ratio is used in design to achieve
aesthetics, or the creation and appreciation of beauty through
harmony and proportion. The golden ratio might help you figure out
how big your layout should be. Setting the size to 1:1.618 is a
relatively simple technique to apply the golden ratio.
Composition (Framing & Cropping)
Single shot, two shot, over the shoulder, point of view, and insert shot
were among the camera framing techniques demonstrated in this video.

My Concept & Story
~ My concept and story is about person of the year are chasing their dream such as singer and they have to face a lot of challenging .The challenges are the building blocks of our future as a result, we must keep to our initial goals and persevere in the face of difficulty. Moreover, as people around them we have to encourage them and agree with the dream they pursues.

Feedback
Mr. Martin suggested to choose pre-composition 2 as the final composition. I agreed that because it is rich in content , balance, and the focal point which the top look like a lady sprinkle something to the air (movement). But I facing problem that the bottom lady need to more strengthen the attraction, so the final composition can be better.
Final Composition
Reflection
It is fun today and I enjoy learning how to collage the materials that we had then compose it into my own concept and story even though it hard to me because did not have enough materials so it is hard to turn into my own concept and story. But I am lucky I had one a few page about singer so I finished it . After the review ,I improved the Pre - Composition #2 I cut out the white areas of the circles line which are blue and red circles .Then , the right bottom corner to empty so I add the agree in it and take out the long words which is ( Challenges are the building blocks of our future ). So that I can create successfully.
