Week 1 / Introduction & Briefing
We were introduced quantify and visualize data.
Quantify and visualize data : Quantify (count) the selected items and arrange them in a visually appealing
layout or chart. We gather elements (data), sort it by colour , pattern and so
on arrange it visually, and present it from less to more. We can also tell a
narrative to explain it.
Requirements: The information must be supplied in its current state. To enable people
visualise the quantity and data, we must arrange the objects with important
indications written out with pens. Take a photo of the final result and upload
it to your Google Drive folder.
Option 1: Jar of stuffs
~Find a jar with similar contents like buttons, candies, coins etc. and sort
the items accordingly.

Option 2: Emergency bug out bag
~A bug out bag is a survival kit filled with essentials that can help you
get through a variety of emergency scenarios. Filled up a bag for your own
self with essential items (items you can find with you at the moment! You
don’t have to buy new ones!) you’d need to survive for at least 72 hours in
cases like these.
My Decision
~ I decided to selected option 2 because this is my forte. I good at
keeping things organized and I also my house did not have enough elements to
make option 1 so option 2 is the best way to completed my exercise 1.
Starting The Progress
Figure 2.1 First Attempt (06.01.22)
~ I think the background is too complicated because my house 's floor
is marble tile with red and white colour. So I decided to use plain colour background.
Figure 2.2 White Bed (06.01.22)
~ This is what I had found in my house because I did not have mahjong paper
so this is the one and it also big and have enough space.
Figure 2.3 Second Attempt (06.01.22)
~ This is the second attempt 's arrangement .It got a little different
because I figure it out that the first attempt bottom left where under the
pot I think there can putting a rectangle things but still did not have
any ideas. Besides, the previous right top and bottom's arrangement were a
bit empty such as the bottom which is the hat had a lot of space.
So , the second attempt I had add a purse which is a rectangle size. It
had fill the space and the vitamin C that is white small rectangle
package. Furthermore, I move the sport shoes to the right bottom corner
and move down the tent ,umbrella , wrench and food meanwhile the tableware move to top. I adjust the lighter,
flashlight and rubber band to top of the bag.

Figure 2.7 Final Outcome (07.01.22)
Final Outcome
Jpeg of Final Outcome (07.01.22)
~ Let start from the middle! The middle top of the bag are
important things that can 100% survive .This due to the reason
the lighter can warm our body temperature and cooking the food
,the flashlight can see the road and dangerous animals can also
do SOS at night. Rubber band also important to me because it had widen
my sight .Lastly , why the bag is the most important thing?
For example ,if we did not bring every things but only bag we
can go searching things and putting into the bag to keep us alive.
Furthermore, go to the top left start from the candy, candy can
replenish sugar in the body and avoid dizziness but it is
only given us small energy and not enough to survive in 72 hours
so it only 30% . Survival mirror which is near by the candy, it
functions are alert potential rescuers of our location and
make a fire. There have a compound shape of food under the
survival mirror .After that is my glasses to look clearer
from far away. On top of the glasses are beverage to keep us
survive after we finish the 1500ml water bottle. Next, is the
first aid items we must bring. Viewer can saw the first aid items is in the center of the candy, food
,glasses and beverage. To the bottom left, is purse
got i.c ,money and crucial personal documents. On the
purse has a phone with earphone, it is 45%. We can use
phone to spending time ,call for rescue and using the
earphone to hear the radio to get the news.
Moreover, move to the right top we can see from the
tupperware to the knifes are tableware. The bottom
of tableware are the extra body protection such as the hat
is for protecting the head and the sport shoes are
protecting our legs. Move to the left, there have a L
shape which are prepared for second day and third
day. These foods will be more filling and give our
body a lot of energy, so this is 70% of the reason.
Wrench and umbrella one is as a weapon to defense,
one is for preventing to get wet when the weather is
raining. Lastly, is the tent to as a shelter giving
temporary protection.
So, this is all I had I hope I can survived in 72 hours
when the emergency happened.

Reflection
If was fun to explore the elements in home and it also let me know that we should be prepared for emergencies every time such as flood ,war ,earthquake or somethings else. I would like to prepared an emergency bug out bag right now and check it to make the food are not expired.
