Lecture

Week 1 / Introduction & Briefing

During our very first lecture class, we met Mr. Martin, our lecturer for this module in the Zoom call. After he welcomed everyone, he asked us to join Google Classroom as it will be our main platform to communicate and to obtain classwork. After that, he introduced  Bezier Game to us ,he explained that this game is one of the most regularly used tools in Adobe Illustrator, giving us extra practise with the pen tool and providing the link to the game. In class, he played this game, let us briefly preview the game.

REFLECTION:

I tried this game for the first time and found it very interesting. We will get used to the use of pen tool through this game. With all the lines warping and bending as I wish, I feel frustrated with the harder parts such as curves or when I run out of nodes. At first, I wanted to try to complete it with as few nodes as possible, but I don't know how to do it without affecting the shape. I finally got 19 spare nodes from the game. It's fun, but it feels like there are never-ending stages to complete.

On the other side, Mr Martin requested that we open a Pinterest account because having a mood board is really essential to us. I've learned more about my favourite styles by collecting three of our favourite graphic design works.
